ThyssenKrupp to slash up to 20,000 more jobs: report
BERLIN (AFP) - German steelmaker ThyssenKrupp will cut up to 20,000 more jobs in the next fiscal year after already eliminating 12,000 positions due to the financial crisis, a report said Saturday.

Severstal books Q2 loss of $290 million
MOSCOW - Russia's largest steelmaker Severstal posted Monday a $290 million loss in the second quarter, a sharp fall from profits last year but better than the previous quarter, as the slump in global demand hit a bottom and showed some signs of picking up.
