Air China warns it faces loss due to fuel hedging
BEIJING - Air China Ltd., one of China's three major state-owned carriers, warned Saturday it faces a "significant loss" for 2008 because of wrong-way bets on fuel prices that will cost nearly $1 billion.

E-mail threat turns back plane to Japan
TOKYO - An anonymous bomb threat e-mailed to Air China's Tokyo offices on Friday forced a passenger jet to make an emergency return to Japan, the Japanese Transport Ministry said. Four other flights were delayed.
