Japan's Shizuka Arakawa performs in the Gala exhibition closing the Figure skating competition at the 2006 Winter Olympics, on 24 February at the Palavela in Turin. Arakawa admitted that she has been so overwhelmed by the reaction to her stunning gold in the 2006 Olympic women's figure skating competition that she has not even been able to celebrate with her parents who came to Turin to see her skate.
