Table tennis: China sweeps Ogimura Cup titles

Athens Olympic silver medalist Wang Hao beat compatriot Ma Long in five sets to win the men's crown Sunday as China swept all four titles at the Ogimura Cup Japan Open. Wang Hao edged Ma 11-9, 11-8, 12-10, 9-11, 11-6 in the men's final after Sydney Olympic champion Wang Nan came back from two games down to edge Guo Yan 9-11, 6-11, 11-8, 11-7, 11-8, 11-9 in the women's final at Chiba Port Arena. Men's doubles pair Chen Qi and Wang Liqin defeated Ma Lin and Wang Hao 11-8, 6-11, 12-10, 11-8, 11-9 in another all-Chinese final, while Guo Yue and Li Xiaoxia downed South Korean duo Kim Kyung Ah and Park Mi Young 11-5, 11-2, 9-11, 11-7, 11-8.
