China calls off search for 120 trapped miners

A Chinese man takes a DNA examination for future identification purposes, after the remains of his son and 121 others trapped for a week in a flooded coal mine were discovered at Huanghuai Town, Xingning city, in south China's Guangdong province, August 13, 2005. Rescuers have not found more clues about the trapped miners, as water continues gushing into the tunnels, the rescue headquarters was quoted by Xinhua on Friday.
