NASCAR puts Kyle Busch, Carl Edwards on probation
DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - NASCAR placed Kyle Busch and Carl Edwards on probation Wednesday for the next six Sprint Cup Series races, the result of their on-track incident last weekend at the end of the race at Bristol Motor Speedway.

Edwards eases Busch aside for 2nd straight Cup win
BRISTOL, Tenn. - Carl Edwards isn't conceding anything to Kyle Busch. Edwards saw Busch lead 415 consecutive laps Saturday night at Bristol Motor Speedway, then used his bumper to nudge Busch in the first turn on lap 470. That move caused Busch's car to wiggle just enough so that Edwards could drive by for his second consecutive victory on the NASCAR Spring Cup Series.

NASCAR punishes Gibbs team for breaking rules
NEW YORK (Reuters) - NASCAR punished Joe Gibbs Racing on Wednesday for rules violations after inspectors found the Nationwide Series cars driven by Tony Stewart and Joey Logano had been tampered with to mask their horsepower.

Busch wins Watkins Glen, makes road course history
WATKINS GLEN, N.Y. - If Kyle Busch has a weakness, it's apparently going to be awfully difficult to find. After rivals Jimmie Johnson and Jeff Gordon said during the week they thought he was slipping following two straight lackluster finishes, Busch answered by making NASCAR history on Sunday.
