Iran tells U.N. it wants nuclear fuel first: envoys
UNITED NATIONS (Reuters) - Iran has told the U.N. nuclear watchdog it wants fresh fuel for a reactor in Tehran before it will agree to ship most of its enriched uranium stocks to Russia and France, diplomats said Friday.

Iran to deliver response on uranium deal Thursday
TEHRAN (AFP) - Iran will deliver on Thursday its much-awaited response to a UN-brokered nuclear deal under which it would export low-enriched uranium for conversion into fuel for a medical research reactor, the Mehr news agency said.

TEHRAN, Iran - Iran accepted the general framework of a U.N.-draft nuclear deal Tuesday, but said it would seek "important changes" that could test the willingness of world powers to make concessions in exchange for a pact to rein in Tehran's ability to make atomic warheads.
