Rehab center sues Courtney Love over unpaid bill

A luxury rehabilitation center is suing rocker Courtney Love, claiming the troubled singer failed to settle her bill after staying at the facility in 2005, court documents have revealed. The Beau Monde center in southern California's Newport Beach alleges Love owes 181,286 dollars following her stay two years ago, a figure which includes 36,000 dollars in spa treatments and incidental expenses. The rehab center filed the suit in Orange County Superior Court on March 1. Love stayed at the center for three months in 2005 in lieu of a six-month prison sentence following a breach of a probation order for drug sentences. Love, 42, the widow of Nirvana front-man Kurt Cobain, has had several brushes with the law in recent years. She broke down in December after a judge wiped her legal slate clean, saying she had successfully tackled her substance abuse problems.
